FREE BABY GOOGLY DOLL TO WINNER! *winner receives baby googly FREE! info: REPRODUCTION CUSTOM MADE wonderful plump mask face googlie!! made from the mold off of an original mask face Googly......... made by George Borgefeld (Hug Me Kiddies) in 1914. This SPECIAL DOLL has a plump original first Horsman Campbell kid body which was made in the same time frame as the original mask face googlies!! IT IS A VERY RARE BODY!! VERY appropriate since the Campbell kids were actually considered a Googly style doll. RARE antique BODY WAS recycled to become a wonderful fitting old look googly doll and it is perfect for the head and look of the mask face googly doll. This authentic antique looking BABY GOOGLY doll became the result!! The body still has the original Horman tag on it though the writing has worn off. BABY GOOGLY FACE IS A paperclay mixture. She has AUTHENTIC ANTIQUE BIG BROWN SPIRAL GLASS GERMAN EYES!! SHE has a mohair wig trimmed just googly right. She is airbrushed and has deep cranberry plum lips. she has a tiny 'nick' by her eye, and came to me that way. Body is tightly stuffed with original cork and has the commonly found stains and wear of an antique doll body but it is solid with no leaks and no odors. The joints are all good, working and tight. a bellows press squeeker was added to her tummy because the original googlies had a squeeker that you pressed and it squeeked so now this mask face Googlie is quite the high pitched whiner like her original counterparts. Her head swivels gently from side to side like the originals. Her clothing was an actual early feedsack cloth which was so commonly used by mothers and children to make clothing for dolls. Her sleeves and belt are old cotton mattress style ticking and she wears a cotton muslin bonnet creatively tea stained in two tones. It has real vintage blue silk ribbons. All her clothing have been lightly tea soaked and twice rinsed. THE ARTIST THAT MADE THIS DOLL IS A REMARKABLE LADY! SHE IS QUITE GIFTED, and i will be VERY sad to see this doll go. OK. NOW FOR THE ORIGINAL DOLL: GO SLOW, take your time, here are OVER 50 photos. all large, so you can see details and colors. this is the real deal! genuine, ALL ORIGINAL no touchups, no repairs, NO nothing done to this doll,not even wiped off! straight from antique storage chest to you! i beleive this is the Elusive and rare PAPA antique hug me mask face doll. (germany ?) the hair is incredible! long, soft, shiney, thick and NOT brittle! colors of clothes are fab! you can see expected areas of age dirt or stains, and the clothes are sewn on, so i did not attempt to clean! shoes, socks, shoe decoration and strings on shoes, and even the soles, are all original! one part of the corner of the bottom of the shoe sole has lifted and a drop of tape was placed to hold it down, it is underneath, no damage and not permanent! you can either leave or remove it yourself. i unbuttoned one button to show you the vibrant color of clothing underneath. big tie bow all original! clothes all original! HIGH FACE COLORING. ALL ORIGINAL! paws and stitches, all original! SQUEAKER ORIGINAL AND WORKS IN TUMMY!! head and limbs jointed, working. move! no sour smells! and nose has NO nip or chip, it is dirt. HUGE GIANT HAND BLOWN GLASS EYES. ORIGINAL! EYEBROWS ORIGINAL! LOOK AT THOSE BIG FAT CHUBBY CHEEKS! beautiful red lips and matching red dotted nostrils. ALL ORIGINAL PAINT! no repaints anywhere!!
