Wooden Castle Set Furniture People Horses Catapult etc Start Price USD 49.99 Current Price USD 49.99 Time Left - Bid Count 0 Buy It Now Price - Reserve Price - Start Time Sunday, June 29, 2008 End Time Sunday, July 06, 2008 Location Quincy, Florida See more about 'Wooden Castle Set Furniture People Horses Catapult etc' Description En guard!  Here we have a large wooden castle packed with wood furniture and action figures.  It even comes with wool-stuffed, yarn-haired, bendable felt horses.  As the knights battle the scariest dragon you can conjure up in your imagination, the king and queen gnaw their fingernails hoping for the safe return of the prince who disappeared while hunting deer in the glade.  Even the jester with his green, 3-point, ball-tipped cap can't lessen their anxiety.  The prince's childhood nanny is so upset that she nearly forgets the fish, hen and turnkey leg she has roasting over the open fire.  She busies herself at her spinning wheel to try and get her mind off of things for a time.  Soon she'll go to the cupboards and get what she needs to set the table for the hungry knights.  After serving them their medieval fare, she's rest on the chaise lounge, waiting wearily for the prince's possible return.Knights, spears, shields, castle furniture, horses, king, queen, jester, working ping pong ball catapult, included.  Everything you see in the pictures is included except the child!  Expect this set to have been very well played with.  There are some crayon markings on the inside, but will sand off.  Some of the action figures are in bad shape, having had their cloth hoods ripped off by giants, their hair seriously mussed during escape.  You can glue new dos on or make new hoods to help these little ones out.  The horses were made in and imported from Germany and were very expensive and high quality.  The catapult alone was The catapult alone was $21.95. The castle was crazy insane too; it sells for $225. The furniture sets were seriously expensive as well, but I can't remember how much I paid for them and can't find anything like this furniture online now. The point is, I spent well over $300 when this set was new. My kids LOVE this, but they have other sets, and we need to reclaim some space before we have a wooden toy avalanche over here. Please BE AWARE that this item is NOT in pristine condition. It has nicks and dents and has been thorougly played with, but it's still in sturdy shape with years of play left. It's also still quite appealing in spite of how much it has been played with. This whole set weighs 27# without the packaging and box. It will probably be close to 30#. Dimensions of castle are approximately 28.5"x12"x29". It would probably be best (least expensive) to ship this set via Greyhound bus, but I am willing to ship any way you choose.
