Description This is a lovely doll marked 1916 on the back of head.  She is as found, still in her box.  She has a wonderful body, that has very little wear to it.  I am assuming that she was never played with.  She has an old wig (her original??) and is dress in an old orange dress, that, I think may be silk.  It is in fair to fair/plus.  She has no socks, undies or shoes.  The dress may be homemade.  She needs restrung, cleaned a bit and maybe eyes need rewaxed.  She is a large doll at ABOUT 29.5 (SHE IS LOOSELY STRONG, BUT THIS IS WHAT I THINK SHE MEASURES) inches tall.  The wig is okay.  I think for her age, she is wonderful!  She has very little wrong w/ her, mostly from age and storage.  She is sold as is.  She will be wrapped well and because of her size, the box is quite large and heavy.  Place a Bid!
