Wow did she turn out sooooo darling.....and that is how she got her name Lil Darling! Her face has much more needle sculpting to enhance her pug features....I have taken lots of pictures so hopefully you will be able to see all her adorable wrinkles and jowls and that adorable outfit too.  She is wonderfully distressed to look like an old toy dog doll that came out of an old trunk in the attic but she is newly made by me and is my original design.   This auction is for the PUG Dog only!        Her mohair is a hand dyed Tan color and then I hand tinted her traditional markings in an old black color on her face and ears.  This black came out more pale and worn looking so I had to make her an old and worn outfit to  match!    She has a unique head shape that is like the pug.  Each of my pug dog faces come out different, with their own unique facial features from the sculpting!  Her head is a big fat style head with a pieced in chin with  needle scultped jowls. I sculpted some wrinkles on her forehead too. She has large flapover black tinted ears.   Her snout is pushed in and down like a real pug snout.   Then I aged her again.   Her paw pads are backed mohair and then aged.   She has very large round black german glass eyes backed with cream cotton fabric.  Her nose is sparsely stitched with old black thread and then I applied my color wax technique on it to make it look even older. She wears a drop-waist sundress that I made from an old blue & cream polka dot fabric. I added a few old & worn holes to her dress to make her look like she has been played with.   I made her a little peter pan type collar from vintage cream cotton fabric.  Then I added a very old button to the front of her dress..... I have been saving this button for just the right piece!  I added some old pale pink vintage ribbon to the front and then a bow pinned to the top of her head.   I gave her a card that I made from old graphics and a vintage playing card......it is a picture of a little girl that reads....."COULD YOU LOVE A LITTLE GIRL LIKE ME?".     What an adorable girl.....her pictures do not do her justice!  If you love old antique dollies then this pug is perfect to add to your collection.          MY INSPIRATION DOG !!!     She is loosely stuffed with wood wool, steel shot and gravel granulars and sand, for weight and texture.  She is 5-way hardware jointed with locknuts & discs.  She will come with my signed hang tag. She is shown standing but she cannot stand alone without help. This auction is for the PUG DOG ONLY!    She would look fabulous tucked in a vintage cabinet or in an old trunk with your other antique dolls & toys!
