She is dressed in a festive and celebratory ethnic dress The face is made of a soft plastic or rubber but is more firm than the classic Rushton Company dolls manufactured in Atlanta in the 1950's. This dolls hair is made of black yarn. Her dress is crafted from cotton and is highly embellished with lace, ribbon, and a satin lining on the inner edge of the dress. Her blouse and apron (one piece) are constructed from a fine woven floral mesh fabrication. The only recognizable flaws on this piece is a small 1/2 inch split on the tip of the dolls right toe. There are a few water stains on the lower left leg and on the left hand, The dolls face is in perfect condition. With slight cleaning and tender love and care, the peasant girl doll can be brought back to her original splendor and grace. Place a Bid!
