Everything is in good shape and they are nicely cut and have been well taken care of.  There is no cover.   The dolls have very few bends other than very minor ones at the neck and 1 wrist.  The index finger is gone on the right hand of the doll with the figured suit, however, it isn't noticable as the fingers blend together and one has to look very closely to detect it.  Hedy was a very popular doll in the 40's and to me was one of the most beautiful with her long black curly hair and ruby red lips.  There are pictures of her in movies, etc. included with this set.
