Made by the N.D. Cass Co. or Cass Toys. This was made to fit the 8'' dolls popular at that time; Ginny, Muffie, Alexander-kins & others. Cass also made Ginny's pink bedroom set in 1955, this set being a forerunner to it. Just different painting & coloring.The set is wooden, held together with tiny nails. It is beautifully made with blonde coloring, green accents, & cute trim. The trunk lid is hinged & opens. The wardrobe doors both slide. The set is in great shape. There is a small stain on the mattress, and a few scratches on the trunk. Everything looks & works great.Best of all, the furniture still comes in its original display box. The box measures 10 x 18 x 4'' with Jewel Tea Co. on the lid. The set was sold through several companies, Jewel Tea being one. Green cardboard inserts lift up to display the cute 'Dolly Playhouse Furniture' sign & graphics of the set. The box is in good, sturdy condition with just light storage wear.
