It has a very fine woven backing that does not fray and is a dream when it comes time to turn your project pieces inside out (even the very tiny pieces seem to magically pop around). I have been able to sew very close to the edge of this material without fear of my stitches pulling apart at the seams.A 9” x 9” cut will easily produce two to three miniature bears in the 3” size. It is an inexpensive and fun way to sew very small bears. The pile of the fabric is very “beary” and furry looking on your small-scale project.
