This is a BARBIE Vintage 1969 Second Version ("Nape Curl") TALKING Barbie Doll with Light Brown Hair often called "Brownette". Her body is marked "1967, MATTEL, INC., U.S. & FOREIGN, PATS PEND, MEXICO. She is wearing "Sunflower" Dress. I've also given her a pair of newer shoes (the top straps are both split)   She has been Repaired to TALK... She says 6 Things: "Hi, I'm Barbie...What's your name?""Let's go Visit PJ""Would you like to be a model""Help me get ready for the dance""I love yo dance, don't you?""Let's have a fashion show together"~See Pictures Below~ Note: Repaired parts are most likely even stronger than they were, but just wanted to note to be gentle as the Talkers are notorious for their limbs snaping off. Also, repaired seem line may not appear "perfect", but repaired or not there is always an unsightly seam line. Here are the specifics... these usually make the doll sound much worse than it appears, but I don't want anyone to be dissapointed. HEAD: Near-Mint HAIR: Full and uncut..mainly in original style...rubber band may even be original...just slightly messy from storage ROOTED EYELASHES: Super LEGS: Clean...Both legs click and hold 3X OUTFIT: The neckline is frayed and has a split in the front....the blue looks like it has bleed into the fabric...button and loop are intact in back ...the loop is stretched out. Dress shows wear, but displays nicely!She has only a few minor flaws and is still in GREAT condition and it is so Awesome to hear her SPEAK! She comes from a Smoke Free home and is REALLY NEAT!!!!
