Sorry to say that I do not know the maker, but I have been told that he is dressed in the native costume of a Gorale, or highlander from the mountain area of Poland. Possibly marked, but his clothes have been sewn on, and are very tight. I am unable to check his neck or back foir a mark. Notice his handpainted wooden ax. Metal display stand is included. Measures 11.5" tall Displays beautifully, and in original as-found condition. Clothing is complete, with no tears, holes, or repairs.
