Click images to view larger versions Here’s a cute little gal you might remember from the 1950's, Terri Lee! I'm not a Terri Lee collector, but I will do my best to describe anything important that I see. This gal came from a smoke-free doll collector's estate, and she seems to be in Excellent or better condition. She has a little light soil/dust on her, but it looks like it would clean off with a damp cloth. She has the cutest face with her chubby cheeks, and her hair is in wonderful shape. She was stored with a hairnet on, so she has a lot of curl left in her wig. Her pink prom gown is manufactured, and is very clean and starchy. It has wrinkled a bit from storage, but I'm sure it would steam out nicely. Terri Lee is 16" high, and she is hard plastic, and seems to be strung together nicely. Please note that the doll stand is not included in this sale. As you can see in the pics, this little girl has vivid face paint with huge brown eyes and bright red lips. I don't know the history of this doll, but I suspect the lips might be repainted. Terri Lee's left hand has some specks of red paint on it, and I cleaned some specks of red paint off of her left temple area around her eye. I didn't want to clean too hard, since I didn't want to harm the rest of her make-up. Terri still has some blush on her cheeks, too.  Terri Lee's hair is soft and looks great. The wig looks original to me, but I will let you experts decide whether it is or not. Terri Lee has white bows in her hair, and her part has 2 lines of stitching down it. Terri Lee's name is marked on her back. Her body is pretty clean; she looks like she was never played with at all, just displayed. She does need a bit of cleaning, but she is stain-free. Her knees have blush on them still. I think the stringing is just fine on her, though her legs might be a little loose. The prom gown seems to be in Near Mint condition, but I do not find a tag in it. It definitely is manufactured, and has an attached muslin underslip. The gown closes with square sewn on snaps in back. The gown is starchy and has a flower bud at the front neckline. Terri Lee wears white nylon panties, and silver ballet style slippers. Terri also has a wrist corsage on, which is a little worn.So if you love collecting Terri Lee dolls, this cutie will look very nice in your doll display! Good luck bidding!
