Her daughter said that several years ago the artist went blind and that the studio had burned to the ground. I told her I had a Vlasta doll from 1980's in mint condition. Many of the Vlasta dolls are not sold with a box but on a stand that was specially covered and created for each doll. She told me that some of the dolls are MUSEUM PIECES, since they are in such limited quantities.  She told me most of her dolls have fabrics made from antique fabrics imported from europe. Her and her mother went to Europe searching out allot of the very rare fabrics that are used in the clothing of the dolls. Many of the roses are hand created from antique ribbon made on the head of a pin very intricute work. Each doll had a story behind it in which she and her mother would make up about them.dont pass up the chance to pick up one of these special creations. There original price ranged from in these childrens dolls from 700.00 to 3900.00. And the fashion or one of a kind dolls ran from 7000.00 to 15000.00 or groups of dolls from 15000.00 to 35000.00 they were highly sought after in the 80's or 90's.       All payments are due and payable within 7 days from end of auction. You must contact us within 3 days from end of auction to tell us how you intend to pay. By Money Order, Cashiers Check, or Paypal (WE PREFER PAYPAL). We ship within 3 business days from time of payment. We mail out twice weekly on Tuesdays and Fridays. Our preferred shipping method is Priority mail through the US Post Office. But we will under certain circumstances use UPS and FEDEX. We cannot GUARANTEE delivery time to the destination at all. We will upon request supply a tracking number if it is provided by the shipper. We do send all priority mail with a confirmation of delivery which is usually traceable but we have been told that the Post Office is sometimes lacks in updating the information. We have no control over there procedures of transport. INSURANCE is a required add-on cost to any purchase through us, this protects you as well as us. ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
