' Description Up for auction is a 16" Gene Autry doll issued in 1949 as one of the greatest cowboy singers made by the Terri Lee Doll Company.  Marked on the back Terri Lee Patent Pending.  He is wearing his Gene Autry Rodeo Costume, pink satin print shirt with three pearl like snap closures, trimmed with gold cord. Tagged on the inside with a Terri Lee satin tag. Pink cotton pants with side snap closure on each side, trimmed in gold cord, signature Gene Autry is on the left side pants pocket, very faint, but it is still visible, tan leather belt. No rips or tears in this outfit and no snaps missing. Original felt hat with yellow cord. Boots are off-white oil cloth with cut-work.  Gene is in wonderful condition considering his age.  Nothing broken on this doll!  All fingers and toes present.  There are some joint scuffs around the neck and legs, but not noticeable.  Wonderful painted facial features, multi-stroke thick painted eyebrows and painted hair. No missing color on the blue eyes.
