SIGNED "MACE HOPPLE" APP. 4 1/2" HIGH LEGS ARE 2 1/2" WIDE EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH NO CHIPS OR CRACKS.Mr. Hopple made miniatures of actual antique furniture pieces, from drawings he made himself.  It has been mostly used as doll furniture, even though that was not his specific purpose. They are all wood, mostly oak. I do not know if he had a set rule as to scale, so the measurements are all you have to go by.Some people, especially collectors of antique furniture,  use them as shelf display items.His pieces are widely sought by collectors of both antique dolls and antique furniture.. Since he recently died, there will be no more of these pieces.
