VINTAGE SET FOUR WOODEN STORYBOOK DOLLS PINNOCHIO OLD Start Price USD 85.99 Current Price USD 85.99 Time Left - Bid Count 0 Buy It Now Price - Reserve Price - Start Time Wednesday, September 03, 2008 End Time Saturday, September 13, 2008 Location Niceville, FL See more about 'VINTAGE SET FOUR WOODEN STORYBOOK DOLLS PINNOCHIO OLD ' Description EXQUISITE CIRCA 1950'S VINTAGE SET OF FOUR WOODEN HANDMADE AND HANDPAINTED STORYBOOK CHARACTER DOLLS MADE IN POLAND - SET INCLUDES PINNOCHIO, RAPUNZEL, GOLDILOCKS, AND LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD Recently purchased from an estate in Atlanta, Georgia.  The estate had the set of dolls listed as 1950's Wooden Polish Storybook Dolls.  Each of the four vintage dolls have side-glancing painted bright blue eyes and mohair wigs.  Their outfits are exceptional in quality and condition and retain their original vivid colors.  Facial details are extraordinary and all are hand painted with different features.  This set of vintage dolls includes: Pinnochio, Goldilocks, Rapunzel, and Little Red Riding Hood. Stunning in design and detail.  Condition:  The dolls are all in nice vintage condition with the exception of the Goldilocks Doll which has lost her hood at some point and it has left a bald spot on the back of her head.   The dolls all having movable arms and legs and can be posed for your display collection.  The dolls all have wooden pegs connecting their arms and legs with a vintage but durable string for movement. The Rapunzel Doll, Goldilocks Doll and Little Red Riding Hood Doll all have red wooden shoes and the little boy Pinnochio Doll is sporting black wooden shoes.  One of the original gold foil labels are still attached to Goldilocks shoes and the sticker reads:  Made In Poland.  Each of the dolls have wooden half-spoon shaped hands.  Simply stunning set of four Polish Wooden Storybook Vintage Dolls and unusual to find in such lovely condition together.  Exceptional addition to your vintage doll collection!!
