Description Titian Redhead Vintage Barbie American Girl, Near Mint! < Click images to view larger versions Here’s a lovely Titian American Girl Barbie from 1965! This lovely model is in Near Mint condition, with soft copper penny hair & full color-washed coral lips! She doesn't have any green ears or earring holes, and no nose nips or neck splits. Her body has tight hips with nice knee joints that click 3 times each. She doesn't have any finger chews or poke marks on her legs. She has all of her finger nail polish too! Though Holiday Dance & Gold 'n Glamour look wonderful on the Titian American Girl Barbie, those outfits are not included in this sale, they are both available in other auction listings. This auction is only for the doll, and the doll stand is not included. Please see my other auctions as I am happy to combine shipping charges for multiple wins. As you can see in the pics, this cutie has great facial make-up with vibrant turquoise eyes and eyeliner, nice dark auburn brows, and pretty orange cremesicle lips! Her original lipstick had faded to a creme yellow color, which is shown in her photos wearing Gold 'n Glamour and Holiday Dance; I had her lips colorwashed with acrylic paints, so now her lips complement her copper hair.  The acrylic paint is water based and easily removable if you don't like it.  Her hair is nice and shiny with no hair cuts or missing hair plugs. No earring holes either. I love the way her peach/coral lips compliment her coloring, and I think they look great with the Holiday Dance gown! Barbie's bob hair style is a bit flippier on 1 side than the other, but I think that adds to her unique charm. Her bangs could be styled a bit more evenly. Barbie's body is in Near MInt condition; no finger chews or poke marks at all. She has all of her fingernail polish, and there are some remnants or original toe nail polish on about 4 of her toes! She is marked on the right side of her butt, "C1958, Mattel, Inc., U.S. Patented, U.S. Pat. Pend." all in indented lettering, and underneath in raised lettering "Made in Japan". On the back of Barbie's left knee is a small 3/8" light blue bruise; on the back of the right knee is a smaller 1/8" light blue spot. I took a close-up pic of these, and they are not very noticeable. Removezit would probably remove these stains, but I will leave that to the new owner.
