The Ultimate Doll House Start Price USD 950.00 Current Price USD 950.00 Time Left - Bid Count 0 Buy It Now Price - Reserve Price - Start Time Sunday, October 12, 2008 End Time Sunday, October 19, 2008 Location New Bern, North Carolina See more about 'The Ultimate Doll House' Description This is the ultimate doll house.  Closed up it looks like a miniature home.  The first picture is the back of the house.  The second picture is the front of the house.  There is a cascading stairway that goes down the front.  It was removed so that it could fit through a doorway.  There is some damage to the brass railing that goes curves down the stairs.  It should be an easy fix.  The third picture is the right side looking at the open house.  The fourth picture is the left side.  It is six feet tall, by four feet wide, by four feet deep.  It is hinged and opens up to a six foot high, by eight feet wide, by four feet deep.  I am not sure of the scale that the house was built.  It is on casters for ease of moving.  The detail is immaculate.  It has a real copper roof, parquet floors, and fireplaces in each room with soot. There are three floors, a basement, and an attic.  The basement is 9" high, the first floor is 13 1/2" high, the second floor is 13 3/4" high, the third floor is 12 3/4" high, and the attic is 11 1/2" at the highest point. There is some damage to the railing on the rear balcony, but should be able to fix.  As I had mentioned, it is a very large doll house and moving it around can be a little tricky.  A gentleman hand built this for his daughters.  It is truely a one of a kind with immaculate detail.  The winner of this auction is responsible for the pick up or for all shipping charges for this item.  Payment by Paypal or by Postal Money Order only.   Pickup can only be made after verification of payment and clearing of postal money order.  No exceptions.
