Twist 'n Turn Stacey is Barbie's friend from England who was issued by Mattel in 1968. She wears her bright red hair in a ponytail down her back, tied with an orange ribbon to match her orangy-red swimsuit. With blue eyes and black eyelashes, plus orangey red polish on her fingernails and tonails, she's a real beauty! This doll is stock #1165 and the box is dated 1967.Stacey comes dressed in her red one-piece stretchy swimsuit with three white buttons. While her swimsuit displays beautifully, it does have two small dark marks, one on the bodice and one on the lower front of the suit. The second spot is somewhat hidden by her wrist tag, which is original and has never been detached. Also included in the box are Stacey's plastic posing stand and fashion booklet. Stacey is in mint condition and comes to you in her original near mint box, which has been recelloed. Stacey has never been played with and I cannot see any signs of discoloration. The box shows a small amount of shelf wear, including a small tear where the corner of the stand was originally placed, and there is a small circle of cello missing on the back. Overall, Stacey displays beautifully and the overall effect is very close to perfection. This doll has been stored away from heat and light in my non-smoking home, as part of my personal collection.
