For your consideration is a FABULOUS French Antique Reproduction A. Thuillier recreated by Grandmaster of Doll Making Emily Hart of Canada. Ms. Hart has won many awards for her amazing reproduction French and German dolls. This doll is signed and dated by Ms. Hart and is marked with mold markings "A 11 T." She is masterfully painted with beautiful coloring, even lash work, outlined lips, and magnificent detailing. Her stunning glass paperweight eyes are French Navy with wonderful threading and high profile. Pinned to her styrofoam pate is a lovely blonde mohair wig with lots of curls and straight bangs that frame her face beautifully. She stands 21.5 inches tall on a Seeley French composition body marked with the original hang tag that says FB 16 JWS. The body is in new-like condition and is jointed at the neck, shoulders, elbows, hips and knees with straight wrists. She is wearing a vintage harvest gold velvet and cream silk costume that is loaded with detail and embellishment. The dramatic hat is adorned with cream flowers, ribbon, antique-looking lace and a gold plume. The dropped-waist dress is actually one piece but looks like a two-piece suit. It features ruching, piping, beautiful lace and lovely antique-style buttons on the front. It closes all the way down the back with hidden snaps. Underneath she wears white cotton pantaloons, cream knit stockings and cream French-style shoes. This doll is from my personal collection and my smoke-free home.
