SEARS EXCLUSIVE, "PINK FORMAL" #1681 I am selling all of the Sears Exclusive together and not piece by piece. This Barbie fashion was sold in the Sears Christmas catalog in 1966. The term Barbie doll was "tickled pink" was used to describe her glorious pink formal. The owner of this set should be just as tickled as this outfit is hard to find! The soft pink satin skirt has pink tulle ruffles at the hem that rises in the back to meet the separate top. The sleeveless bodice with scoop neck is attached to the overskirt which comes to a V in the front and rises in the back. There is a silver glitter design on the overskirt. A marabou boa in pink and clear shoes with silver glitter complete the beautiful and desirable evening ensemble.
