Description This is an adorable, collectible VIB (Very Important Bear) - Teddy Bear - "Red Octobear", which was created for the movie "The Hunt For Red October.  It is made by the North American Bear Co.  This bear was retired in 1993.  He is dressed in his navy blue dress uniform, which has wool pants buttoned to his long-sleeved shirt.    At the neck of the uniform there are white stripes.  Complete with a red, embroidered Soviet Union Symbol and the text "Red Octobear" on the right side of his chest.  Also has a gold embroidered applique with a navy bue circle with a gold anchor in the center of it, which is on the left side of his shirt.  There are also two embroidered felt appliques on the sleeve of his uniform on his right arm.  He also has a sailor navy blue hat that is finished off with white trim and a Grosgrain Ribbon with Red Octobear written in gold and in Russian, with tails that hang down his back.  There is a red star on his hat. The bear is in very good condition.  The only thing that I believe is missing is his tag.  He does have the manufacturers tag on his back.
