I have been reborning now for 7 years and after years of experimenting and experience I have developed my own style of colouring of which I am very proud. I change the colouring technique depending on the age and character of the baby. I have studied photos of newborn babies to create the perfect skin tones as well as babies up to 2 years old. She looks amazingly realistic! Her skin tone has been achieved with mulitple thin layers of Genesis heat set artists paints, individually heat set for lasting quality. I have created my own unique palette of colors to achieve the most "true to life" complexion possible. This process took days and skin undertones of subtle veining and tiny facial cappilaries, which add amazing realism. Not one detail has been overlooked.She has delicate baby fingers and toes that have been manicured with soft tint nailbeds and wonderfully transulucent nail tips.Here she is in her new custom made pink dress with matching bonnet and trimmed in Venice Lace . She has been given micro-rooted premium mohair in the color of dark wavy brown. Each hair follicle has 1 to 2 strands of hair for the most realistic look possible. Her hair is sealed from the inside for added strength. She has wispy infant lashes and gorgeous dark brown eyes. Her eyebrows were applied one hair stroke at a time and softened to perfectly match her hair. Her lips were colored for a very natural look, I have sealed her lips with a satin finish . I only use new, clean, sealed materials in my weighting process. She has not been overstuffed in any way and can curl into your arms and cuddle. Once you hold this precious baby you won't be able to put her down. My babies are made by me and me alone.
