Here we have a lovely colourful well painted, part stencilled German Noahs Ark made from solid pine and having a lift up lid which can be latched at present a length of tape runs along inside the lid, it measures 17" long by 9" deep and dates to pre 1920 the base is marked foreign. Sadly the animals have filed out two by two and only a few remain please see images for detail. There is no rot or damage but there are a few tiny old woodworm holes here and there but this is lond dead, generally this Ark is in good order and would make a great centrepiece for any collection.
