Aloha! Imagine a place beneath the stars at a tropical luau and these International Collectors' Series Polynesian Kids created by Xavier Roberts will bring that to mind with their authentically dressed Pacific Islanders attire. Just 1,000 of these Polynesian Sets were available and very few are still available in mint condition for vintage dolls. You'll almost feel the ocean breeze when you see these golden bronze tanned Kids with their distinctive jet black hair and Polynesian features. Even their eyes glint with the reflected glow of a South Pacific sunset. In addition to their traditional Polynesian clothes, Lokelina comes with an island flower in her hair, a tropical lei and a grass skirt, while Ohana, also wearing a lei and ankle band, is ready for a luau with his authentic gourd rattle (so cute). The detail goes right down to their naturally soft-sculpted legs and stitched toenails - a first for original Cabbage Patch Kids. These Kids even wear colorful thong sandals for walking on the beach! Beautiful set of Polynesian Kids born at BabyLand General Hospital on March 25, 1987. Lokelina and Ohana were hand picked by me and are the cream of the crop, adopted on March 27, 1987. In excellent vintage condition - I'd call them mint, and kept in a glass display case all of these years with many of their brothers and sisters. Both adoption certificates are in mint condition and have been kept safely in plastic sleeves in our family’s CPK and Little People binder, along with their first birthday card!
