Lash Strung Ginny High Color Original Rare Outfit' Description This is an 8 inch vintage strung painted lash Ginny from the 1950's. Dressed in the dress, bonnet and undies I found her in. I was told by a collector that the outfit she has on is a very, very rare original Strung Ginny outfit though there is no tag on the dress. The dress and doll are documented from 1950. The dolls face is nice and shiny with high color and no scratches to the paint. The eyebrows and eyelashes are painted and are there they just don't show up in the photo even though I took a clear close up, they are not green. The eyes do not close on their own but with a little help from a tip of a pencil eraser. The wig is a replaced brunette mohair wig, I will include her original wig when I mail her out. The outfit does have yellowing on the diminity trim fabric on the back near the hem. Expected of a doll this age. The doll also has replaced shoes and authentic rayon socks. The flowers on the chest and hem (velvet pale blue forget-me-nots,) are replacements. Ginny must be mailed out by Priority Mail with signature confirmation. Terms of Sale: Paypal only.
