Description
Up for bid is this 2nd "One Of A Kind" 13"x19" panarama  I took of a moss covered tree located in a rural field area located in the country near  Hoquiam, Washington called Chenois Creek. I suppose it would make a nice background for someone's Hiker Barbie display. I have created a few of these from pics I took while touring our local Northwest coastal locations. Personnally, I grew up in very meager circumstances with my mom & dad in a small two room sanddune cabin with an outhouse 2 miles south of a small coastal town named Ocean City. You may be more familar with town names like Aberdeen , McCleary, Elma, Pacific Beach, Moclips or Ocean Shores. It's plenty wet here compared to elsewhere, which provides enough moisture to grow a plentifull supply of natural tree moss which is very beautifull. During this last couple months I have had to pay particular attention to the area behind my ears to keep moss from growing there and covering my fish scales & gills. This attempt at humor comes from the local concept that if you live in this area more than six mos, you are apt to develope Grays Harbor Syndrome.  Symtoms include but not limited to fish scales growing on various body parts, gills behind the ears and maybe the most alarming of all, being ducklike webbed toes. I have included in this bid, some samples of our moss on dead windfall tree branches which held up pretty good as it dried out. It can be very usefull in craftwork, making beards & mustaches for your Ken dolls or whatever else you might get inspired to do. This stuff is not difficult to find here but I still have to drive, walk  and get wet & dirty to access it, so I need to get paid for my efforts & use of my car and body. Don't forget the ink & paper for my printer and an ocasional near escape from an irritated bull. I believe I'm more than fair with my prices. I have built & sold many ooak's and when I look to see what other similar items are out there I stand puzzeled at the prices for what I'd get. I hope you think I'm fair also. I'm open to input so feel free to give me suggestions that will help you. Give em what they want at a fair price is my motto.  If ya want only the 13" x 19" or just the natural tree moss, let me know. I did cut the branches into shorter lengths to fit better in a smaller box as this is the second time around on a relist for this item. I imagine ya want  for crafting anyway. Shipping will change in your favor. Free shipping would be more to your liking. I'm also doin a reprint on 13"x19" mate photo paper. Enjoy your bid.                                                  "SHIPPING"  I'll ship it free, parcel post to save ya that arm or leg & insurance is up to you. I don't do returns so if ya don't want it, please.... don't bid.  Don't mean to be rude. I just like the cards on the table. Check my feedback. It's 100% positive because I do you good. I can't be held resposible for this item after shipper assumes possession. Thier employees may be ex hocky players for all I know. So far I have had no problems. As always, thanks fer yer bid.
