Xiao has been designed and created by myself, Kim Endlich of Friends "Fur" Life Bears. Xiao, which means to laugh or smile in Chinese, stands is 19" tall and he has been created out of two different lengths of off white alpaca and black mohair with wool felt paw pads. I have also given him WIRE ARMATURES! He peers through expressive GREEN German glass eyes with white wool felt tucked behind them and hand painted accents. His face has been extensively needle sculpted to give him sweet expressive smile. His nose has been hand sculpted out of Fimo and securely attached. Xiao is fully jointed with hardboard discs and locknuts and stuffed with a combination of excelsior and pellets for a nice huggable feeling.
