After relocating my business, I have decided it is time to sell and downsize some of my Dollhouse Inventory. This Vintage Strombecker Dollhouse is almost as nice as the day it was made and is in Near Mint Condition! For all you Dollhouse Fanatics, it is featured on Pages 53 & 54 of Dian Zillner's American Dollhouses and Furniture.  The item nummber on its Box reads, "H8". As described in its Original Ad in Children's Activities Magazine that I am also listing today, this is Strombeck Becker's "Dream Home" and measures 23" long by 11" wide by 13" high. It really is a Dream! This entire Dollhouse is made of Fiberboard and is hard to find in this Outstanding Condition After 62 years! The Top Level sits securely on top of the Lower Level and is not tipping as it appears in its picture. What is nice is that the Top Level Lifts Off if you want to move the furniture around underneath! This Dollhouse comes with 4 Rooms (Bathroom, Bedroom, Kitchen, and Livingroom) and even has an Attached Garage! Its Cardboard Tabs are still in place and it has minimal dings or dents in the cardboard. The Brick Red Chimney is still securely attached on its roof. This lovely Dollhouse comes complete with its Original 18 Painted Wooden Furniture Pieces. Upstairs, the Bathroom features an Aqua Blue Toilet, Sink, and Bathtub. The Bedroom has a Pink Bed, Vanity & Round Mirror, Chair, and Nightstand with a tiny Green and White Lamp. The Downstairs Kitchen has a White Refrigerator & Apartment Size Stove and Red Table & Chair with a tiny Yellow Bowl sitting on top. Also downstairs is the Livingroom furnished with a Aqua Blue Sofa & Arm Chair, Brown and Gold Accented Grandfathers Clock & Radio, and a lovely Floor Lamp with a Yellow Shade. That Radio is my very favorite piece and it was very difficult to part with. According to Dian Zillner, it was a special model made especially for that DollhouseI love the way the Dollhouse is so color coordinated throughout!  It's truly Amazing! Finally, the best for last.... There is an Attached Garage with the coolest Wooden Red Retro Car! This Automobile has Four Black Wheels That Really Roll! If that's not enough, there are also 10 Accessory Pieces for you to place wherever you want, including Bushes, a Wheelbarrow, a Baby Carriage, and the Family Cat & Scottie Dog! All of these pieces are shown on the front of its Original Strombecker Dollhouse Box. Its Box will contain its 18 Original Furniture Pieces. CONDITION The Dollhouse and Furniture are in Near-Mint Condition and couldn't be better! In fact, it appears that the Kitchen Door that opens into the Garage has never been opened! This Dolhouse is perfect if you are reliving your childhood and trying to re-collect the Dollhouse of your youth. The Box still has all its pieces, although it appears to have been taped together in places long ago.
