He was purchased new sometime in the early spring of 1990 and lived inside a smoke free home until he went into storage in a sealed container to keep him safe and clean sometime over the past seven or eight years. In the fall of 1993 North American VIB Bear Company retired Red and discontinued making any new Hunt for Red Octobear bears.   He is red with black eyes and nose and measures 21 inches tall (From the bottom of his paw to the top of his hat) and 15 inches from paw to paw. He is dressed in a blue felt navy pants and top with Red Octobear in red under a cycle and hammer. There are several patches on each sleeve. His blue felt navy hat has two tails on it and a red star on the front. The picture mainly says it all.   Red Octobear is in excellent condition along with his original VIB name tag and would be a grand addition to your collection.
