He is item number 0201/99. From head to toe, he is approx. 39 inches. While sitting, he is approx. 28 inches. His color is beige. His style is that of the Steiff original teddy. He was made in West Germany (which definitely dates him!) He is mohair (His "covering" is 60% wool, 40% cotton, as written on his Steiff tag) This huge Steiff bear is from the early 1980's. He has been sitting in a chair at my dinng room table for at least 20 years (probably closer to 24 years...but I just don't remember exactly when I brought him home from my store). He has all his tags. He has never been played with...just moved from his chair when we "dined"! He is in excellent condition, however, he is probably dusty. I dust him...but the dust always returns. If you are a Steiff collector, this huge bear would be a fantastic and very special addition to your collection. This Steiff original Teddy will be packed and shipped by UPS.
