Description
This gorgeous teddy bear was made by American artist Sheryl Wells, who calls her wonderful creations Simple Blessings. Faded Glory measures an impressive 22" tall. Made of hand-dyed rusty burgundy mohair, he has tan felt pawpads, black boot button eyes, black claws and a black nose. Traditional in style, he is reminiscent of old German Steiff bears. He is stuffed with polyfil and pellets for a nice, hefty, huggable weight. He wears a vintage navy blue nylon ribbon and comes with a brown paper hat and a vintage-style Bethany Lowe star ornament. Fully jointed, he is very poseable. He has an especially sweet, expressive face. Faded Glory is one of a kind. He was recently made and is in new, undisplayed condition. Faded Glory would make a lovely addition to your hug -- and will come to you with FREE shipping in the U.S.A.! I pack fragile items in bubblewrap and styrofoam peanuts to ensure the safe arrival of your new treasures. Shipping (if BIN is not used) will be calculated based on weight and bidder's location; I only charge actual postage costs and will happily combine items to help save you money. Thank you for looking and happy bidding! Lisa (KitsaKatze) >^..^< Fine Print: By bidding, you are agreeing that you fully expect to send payment so it is received within seven days of the close of the auction. If you do not plan to pay via PayPal within three days, please confirm your intention to honor your bid by sending me an email with your shipping information. If something comes up and you find you are unable to pay within seven days, I can be flexible -- PLEASE just communicate with me to let me know your intent. Listing on eBay is time consuming and expensive; sadly I have had a lot of bidders waste my time and cause me unreimbursed expenses lately. I do not own a store. I have a full-time job which, with my long commute, keeps me out of my house for over twelve hours each weekday. My father, who is retired, helps me by taking packages to the post office during the week. Although we try our best to get all of the packages out within a day or two of payment, please understand that it may not be possible for your package to be mailed until Saturday when I am able to go myself. For my protection and yours, I require insurance on high-ticket items; if insurance is optional and you elect not to pay for it, I cannot be held responsible for any damage or loss; I do my utmost to ensure the safety of the items I ship but it is literally out of my hands once the post office has them. In the unlikely event that an insured item is lost or damaged, any reimbursement will come from the post office. I do my very best to describe my items accurately and detail any possible problems. If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason, please email me before leaving feedback so I can try to make the transaction right for you.
