P. Dutton. The cover of my original book is great but a few of my transformation, revolving pictures were in disrepair but I wanted to reproduce it as best I could from the wonderful pages and rings that were still in good shape. You can see some of the slit images on the illustrations where the second ring used to be drawn around to change the picture, children must have been fascinated by the original. For this miniature version I have reproduced seven of the illustrated ring pages from the original and seven of the story pages that accompany the illustrations in this fourteen page book. My rings don't move at all in this miniature version but I loved the illustrations of this old book and wanted to share them with you. The cover is just beautiful and shows a young boy showing his fish in a bowl to two youngsters. I've shown the first photo on top of the original to give you an idea of this book's small size. There are cats dancing and singing, a dog and geese, Victorian children with Christmas crackers, pigeons and a dog listening to a cello played by a young boy and other illustration. This book would look lovely open or closed in a miniature setting. The size of this miniature book is to scale in thickness and size to the original, measuring 3/4" by 3/4".This is a special half price book as a book of the month for one month from the time I list it.
