The design work on the wood surrounding the case of the table is intricately carved, as are the long sleek cabriole legs. The table stands 3 ¾” tall. The attached glass case, enclosed on all sides with glass is 1 ¾” wide and almost 1” deep and 3 ¾” across the front. Access to the inside is by sliding the top off. There is a bracket leading from each of the four legs culminating in a small plateau or shelf under the main display box. The floor of the inside display area is covered in a rich deep teal velvet. This would be a lovely way to show off a display or collection of treasures.
