It is deeper in color than what is reflected in the photo. The flash from the camera lightens it. I had purchased these for a store I had about 15 years ago. I had marked the boxes myself with Bespaq.  They do not have any stickers or other identify marks that Bespaq currently used. I would have purchased this back in about 91 and I don't believe Bespaq had marks then or I am not aware of them.  This piece has a China Sticker on it.  I know I paid a lot for this even back then. I thought I would get back into the miniatures, but I don't foresee that happening, so just your luck. You now have the opportunity to purchase some really nice pieces, some possibly no longer made.  Many items are artisan crafted and purchased as miniature shows in Los Angeles.
