The newspaper article is from when it was on display in 1993 at the Peterborough, NH Historical Society and the Sharon, NH Arts Center. It was called a commercial mock Tudor home, fully furnished in a 30's style inside and out. The furniture was bought from different shops and some is handmade. One or two oil paintings were done by a friend of the person whom had owned this before me. Her mother had made the pillow on the couch. It also has a mini dollhouse with a bed and fireplace. The details are incredible. From what I was told when the original owner first got the dollhouse when she was a little girl in 1934. It was a collapsible dollhouse. When she met her husband later in her life they redesigned the dollhouse inside and made it so it dose not collapse and it is affixed to a folding table. It has electricity, 6 rooms 1 bath, a breeze-way, fireplace, soap box cars, scooter, chained linked fence, shrubs, mail box, outside light, a brass spinning-wheel that works along with many other items. There is a silver tea set that was bought in Holland and the kitchen appliances are metal. It has a plexus glass cover on the back side to protect it from getting to dusty. This is on a 4' table, house is 3'4" long, 2' high and 1'5" in depth.   I have additional pictures which I can send upon request.
