The auction includes, doll, original mint box and certificate.  Her name  is Shelby and is #7 of a limited number of 75.  She has a label sown into her dress says Maggie Made SHELBY 7/75. She is hand painted and is fully articulated, meaning her shoulders and elbows, hips, knee and ankles can move. This enables her to be moved and poised in any position.  Maggie Iacono’s hand made felt dolls have gained in popularity by the award-winning artist. Shelby’s face is so delicately painted and her clothing is wonderfully detailed. Her look is finished with a wide brim flowered hat. The long blond hair surrounds her brown eyes and sweet face. The dress is light cotton ecru color with matching hand made Mary Jane suede shoes.  The eyelet slip matches her pantaloons and a wide peach color sash gives a splash of color. Her slim body stands about 16" tall and has her certificated of Authenticity. This is from a collection stored in a climate control closet by a very particular collector.
