APPROX 7 1/2" tall Made in the 50's I think this one is from around the mid 50's Made in the USA jointed at the neck, shoulders & hips This Muffie is a Walker. When you move her legs her head turns from side to side Her wig is dark brown braids . The seamline looks perfect, I don't know if she has been re-braided, but if she has it was done well. Blue eyes with molded eyelashes & painted eyebrows. Made of hard plastic with open/close eyes. They stick either open or closed, so you have to open or close them by hand. She has all of her delicate little fingers She has not been exposed to sunlight or smoke or any odors since I have had her. I've owned her for several years now. She is in nice, probably played with condition, but not mint. Her clothing is near mint. I'm afraid to say mint, because it's so old, I'm sure someone could find sonething wrong with it, although I can't. She is wearing an original Muffie, hard to find( I was told) blue linen coat, it is not tagged, but I'm sure it's Muffie. The coat is not faded, the colors are bright. & the fabric still feels chrisp. Under her coat she is only wearing cotton panties. None of her clothing has any stains or tears. I can't find anything wrong with it. And the snaps is in perfect condition. . The panties are in great condition, no staind or tears and the elastic is good. She is marked on her back STORY BOOK DOLLS CALIFORNIA MUFFIE I think her black vinyl shoes are original and they are in perfect conditon.. Blue rayon socks, appear to be original. I don't know if the hat, purse & glasses are original to this Muffie outfit, but I am including them. If you have any questions, please ask.
