APPROX 7 1/2" tall Made in the 50's I think this one is from around the early 50's Made in the USA jointed at the neck, shoulders & hips This Muffie is a Strung doll. Strawberry blond flip wig. She has a little replacment pin in her hair. Blue eyes. Made of hard plastic with open/close eyes. They stick either open or closed, so you have to open or close them by hand. She does not have any eyebrows. I looked at her with a magnifing glass, and I don't think she ever did. She has all of her delicate little fingers She has not been exposed to sunlight or smoke or any odors since I have had her. I've owned her for several years now. She is in nice, probably played with condition, but not mint. Her clothing is near mint. She is wearing an original Muffie, hard to find( I was told) formal, it is not tagged, but I'm sure it's Muffie. The gown is not faded, the colors are bright. & the fabric still feels chrisp. It has a attached cotton slip with lace trim. None of the dress or slip has any stains or tears. I can't find anything wrong with it. And the snap is in perfect condition. I think her panties are original Muffie, but since they are a different color, I don't think they came with the gown. The panties are blue satin and in great condition, no staind or tears and the elastic is good. She is marked on her back STORY BOOK DOLLS CALIFORNIA Her pinks shoes appear to be original . They have little flowers on the toes and the shoes do show some wear. But they are still in pretty good condition. I don't kow if the hat is original to Muffie or to this outfit, but I am including it. The flowers match the ones on her gown If you have any questions, please ask.
