Jackie Sim Please welcomeBaby Ruby Reborn on 1st September 2008 Approx.Weight  - 5 lbs 6 ozs             ( 2450 g )Length  -  16 inches                ( 41 cm )with legs bent This little Poppet is a newborn size baby.She has been lovingly reborn from the popular''Noe'' doll kit originally sculpted by Evelina Wosnjuk and reproduced  in vinyl  for the 'Real effects' collectionin Germany.~~~~~~~~~~~~ This kit is made of very soft vinyl and has some beautiful detailing.It is one of the limited edition kits, Ruby is numbered 098/250 and comes with a certificate of authenticity~~~~~~~~~~~~Ruby's photos have been taken over several daysat different times of the day. As the weather is not great fortaking photos at the moment some do appear darker than others.Happy viewing! Ruby came as a 'blank canvas' requiring little preparation.All I had to do was to give her soft vinyl head and limbsa gentle wash and dry before the magic of bringing her 'to life'could begin!! Ruby has been given a realisticly, slightly mottled baby skintone,complete with subtle veining and bluey undertones.Her 'babyskin' has been acheived using Genesis heat set paints which I have blended and applied in many, many thin layers, over a number of days, until her baby colouring was 'just right'. Ruby's lips and nails have been given a natural colouring and thensealed with a combination of gloss and satin varnish.Her little nose has not been opened but I have shaded insideto give an illusion of depth. Her eyes, nose and mouth have been delicately varnished togive a naturally moist look. Ruby's hair has been directionally micro-rooted, using dark brown premium mohair, to create a natural, sparse baby look.The hair has been rooted with just 1-2 hairs at a time to create a lovely head ofhair that looks as though it growing right out of her scalp.She even has a directionally rooted crown creating a natural swirlat the back of her head.Her hair has been sealed inside her head and can be gentlydampened and styled.She has matching hand-rooted eyelashes to frame hersleeping eyes. Ruby has been given a new, custom made, soft cloth jointed body, which has been almost entirely, and safely, filled with 'babyfat' &topped with a little fibrefill. She has not been overfilled so that she will lay (and snuggle!)beautifully in your arms and can be posed in many natural baby positions.Ruby wears newborn clothing so her newMummy or Daddy can have great fun findingnew outfits for her!! Baby Ruby's 3/4 length vinyl limbs have been partly filled with Crystalight granules, for weight, and topped with a fibre filling.Her head contains a pouch of tiny glass beads, along with fibre-fill, whichmakes it floppy and needing support just like a real baby!
