Description This little girl who wants to play (stick missing), is one of the rarer most desirable pouty faces of the 300 series. She is 17 tall and in beautiful condition. I bought her years ago from antique dealer and kept her in my doll cabinet to enjoy. I must sell her sadly. Her original dress is made of what seems from silk organza (which is now frail and schredding in its own creases) with sewn in wool felt wheels. So I would say the dress is in fair-good condition because the undergarments (2) are perfect and the felt color is excellent though her entire outfit has never been washed so its overall color is dingy not crispy white. Her dress is tagged with her original label. Her face paint is mint even still showing her little eyebrows right down to her knee and toe color. Both her feet are stamped Lenci. The detail on her dress, undergarments right down to her quilted shoes show incredible workmanship. I have also included a non-Lenci underpants she is covered up underneath (that garment is also antique). Her hair is full and appears to never been cut or missing (sorry I didnt comb it - looks like she just woke up). Her pink bow is faded a bit on the top from what appears from natural light but wonderfully in tac. Her snug little shoes have 2 small holes and her socks have soft age stains. She also has 1 tiny brown spot on the inside upper right arm, one tiny one on her shoe and one tiny one on the inside right leg. I am sure a qualified doll restorer can make these go away and her dress white-white. Those are the only flaws I see. Amazing she is in this condition from all these years with one of the most sensitive and detailed fabric designs I have ever seen.   She is absolutely beautiful with soo much character. She is one of the best Ive seen with her poise as well. I have seen her in one of the original catalogues possible in one of the books but I cant remember as my Lenci books are packed away.
