I have just finished painting this lovely old display cabinet ... It is nicely made , a dark brown colour and has double opening doors on the front . Inside is a shelf and drawer...A lovely old copper handle is fitted to the top... On the front of each door I have painted 2 sweet bears 'in the fur'..on the left Teddy Girl is wearing a big rose print bow and holding a little bear ...on the right door I have painted Big Ted wearing a big neck bow and is also holding a little teddy...the bears look stunning painted on this colour as it shows their fur at its best but the real treasure of this piece is the work that I have done inside..Lovely old pictures and advertisements from an old newspaper 'The Illustrated LONDON NEWS ..Australasian Edition...Saturday August 24, 1889..'  I have added the most beautiful roses around the pictures and repeated these on the sides and top of the cupboard...
