Cream ultra suede is used for his feet and paws pads; these are painted with oils in graduating layers of warm brown and black to add depth. Hours have been spent carefully hand scissor sculpting his muzzle to reveal round cheeks and little chin, his mouth is embroidered with black perle cotton. Kwasi’s cute nose is needle felted from black Australian Merino slivers and sealed for a slight shine. He views the world through black eyes set on white ultra suede for a “Please love me” expression and his face is finished with shading to add dimension. On the inside each piece is reinforced with cotton for strength and durability and all seams are double stitched, to last a lifetime of hugs.
