Please welcome Marsha .... Just look at this beautiful baby Girl.  Marsha started out as the long sold out ~Marsha~kit, Sculpted by the very talented ~ Denise Farmer ~  and is one of the ''Simply Reborn Dolls'' collection . This sculpt is extremely rare and highly sought after, especially when including a COA. Denise has really captured the first real smiles of a very young baby with Marsha. She is a wonderfully happy little baby, I am absolutely thrilled with her... .....she is so adorable. Marsha will make you smile everytime that you look at her cute little face. Her lucky new Mummy will just adore her!!       Complexion   Marsha's vinyl is very soft, warm and realistic. She has been painted using Genesis heat set paints which I have built up and heat set in thin layers.  I have given her lightly mottled skin, delicate capilleries, subtle veining,  blemishes, and delicate blue tones below the naturally thinner areas of her skin ... Just as you would expect to see in very young infant. I've added a slight texture to the more prominent area's of Marsha's skin, but only where its needed, so her vinyl is still very soft to the touch. Achieving as much realism as possible is always my ultimate goal when reborning and little Marsha now looks remarkably realistic and alive. Marsha is neat and dainty baby who looks and feels just as a real baby would in your arms. She is around the size of an early newborn.     Hair   Marsha's head has been  directionally micro rooted with soft and shiny  Light Brown Premium Mohair. To do this, I used a very fine needle, rooting only one or two hairs at a time and in a natural hair growth direction.  Marsha's hair can be gently moistened with a light spray of a  water & leave-in conditioner mix (instructions will be provided) and gently styled straight or wavy.  Her hair is rooted right up to the hairline and looks really wonderful with its realistic little crown swirl ..... as if it has actually grown. I've also very lightly painted some of the ''downy'' looking fine hair that young babies tend to have across the forehead and temples. This really gives the edge to Marsha's realistic newborn look.       Eyes and nose   Marsha has very pretty Newborn Blue eyes. I've opted to hand root her eyelashes and not use the pre-made lash strips that are so often seen on open-eyed dolls. This technique can be tricky which is why it is not often seen on open eyed dolls, but I think that end results are very worthwhile for that ultimate realistic look.  Both the hair and eyelashes have been sealed from within to help prevent shedding and to allow for the hair to be moistened and gently restyled. I've added a slightly moist look to the inner and outer  corners of Marsha's eyes, her fine eyebrows have been painted using  complimentary shades of paint and have then been given a light texture for realism. Her nose has been opened and shaded, backed with dark felt for depth and I've also added a slightly moist look to her nostrils.     Lips   Marsha's lips have been tinted in natural tones and have been sealed with varnish to help prevent chipping and to add a naturally slight sheen. Marsha has a wonderful  little smiling face, she has been beautifully painted, shaded and blushed. Every characteristic has been attended too... including ears, hands and feet,  making her as individual and unique as you and I.     Nails Marsha's Nails have been tinted and now have  the appearance of neatly manicured finger and toenails. I have then sealed the nails to prevent chipping and to add a natural sheen. To make my babies as realisticas possible, I do not paint half-moons on the nails as real babies don't have them.       Body and Fillings   All of Marsha's fillings are hygienic, safe and new. Marsha has been filled and weighted to perfection, with most of her weight being concentrated in her head and bottom. Her fillings consists of quality fibrefill, tiny glass beads to add weight and squiggy baby fat pellets for that soft , cuddly baby feel. Her head has been weighted with non-rusting steel shot and glass bead. Marsha has a quality fully jointed, white soft body. Her limbs have been filled with tiny Glass granules and fibrefill, so they won't crunch when squeezed, and Just like a real baby...she has a wonderful baby fragrance.      Health and Safety   Marsha's head is very heavy and will need some support when she is being handled ... .... just as a real baby's would. Marsha is not a playdoll for young children, she contains many thousands of small parts. All reborn dolls should be handled and treated with care....just as you would with a real baby. Marsha does contain two small , powerful magnets so care must be taken around those with pacemakers and around some electrical equipment. I can remove the magnets if required. ** Please note that my reborn dolls are absolutely not suitable for children as they do not conform to the safety standards that are recommended for childrens toys **     Photography   All of Marsha's photographs have been taken in natural daylight so photo clarity will depend on weather conditions. Marsha's photographs were taken over the course of a day which is why there is a variation in the lighting conditions. Image quality will also depend on your own monitor settings. I have done my best to capture a true picture of Marsha and her photographs have been edited, but not enhanced in any way. To give you the best possible image of the baby, I always use lots of Large scale photographs.
