My press molds are made to be used with polymer clay only. You can not pour porcelain in these molds. There is no pour hole and the seam lines are too large so the porcelain will run out. You could use paperclay or other pressed clay in them possibly. They are made of hydrocal plaster and meant to last a long time. Wet the mold with a spray bottle before pressing your clay. Always use an armature between the two halves, so that your doll has support. Info on how to use a press mold is in the tutorial section of my website for free. I recommend ProSculpt clay only at this time, it's the best on the current market. My press molds are intended for use as instructional aids to help beginners learn to sculpt. But can be used to make fairies or doll house dolls for your own pleasure or for gifts. You also have my premission to sale them to anyone after you change them around so they are not exactly like my work. The molds themselves are copyrighted so do not copy or mass produce them. Enjoy!!! Here is a tip if you want to make this 14 year old girl into a lady doll... Put an armature into the press mold clay in the mold that is a tiny bit longer than it needs to be in the torso area (about 1/4") Then after the clay is press and joined together, stretch your new doll lightly in the torso area. This will thin her waist. Then of course, all you have to do is add bigger breasts and you have a lady doll. All my work is copyrighted material.
