Vintage Vogue 8" Strung Ginny 1950-51 "SPRINGTIME" #21 Special Promo Vogue Doll w/Original Stapled Floral Headpiece (see photos below)  click picture to enlarge THE LITTLE ARA WOOL PET IN THE PHOTO IS INCLUDED AS IT WAS WITH HER IN OUR DISPLAY! We are offering a beautiful vintage 1950-51 Strung hard plastic Vogue Ginny named "Springtime" #21 one of the special promo dolls offered by Vogue to help increase sales. This was also known as Easter. Ginny is  all original except for having to be restrung as her old rubberbands broke which is very common. She is marked on her back.  Her sleep eyes need assistance to open and close which is common and acceptable to most. Pink original blushed cheeks and light (typical for this era doll) lashes and brows. Absolutely NO repaints or restoration! She has a nice blonde original mohair wig decorated with the original & very elusive headpiece that is stapled to her head, indicating that she is a factory original dressed doll, sold in the complete outfit. Her outfit is original but not tagged which is common for many of these early outfits. It is a pale blue shadow print organdy decorated with white eyelet lace & hook/eye closure. Original panties but elastic has relaxed at waist and legs some. She is wearing a stiff slip (not vogue) but like the original which helps her outfit stand out beautifully & is included as alittle extra bonus!  Her outfit retains a nice crisp feel but may have been laundered over the years. Still looks nice though. Her near mint centersnap blue shoes with smooth soles and vintage socks help to complete her look (strong snaps, no repairs). She still has the very hard-to-find ORIGINAL blue I Love You plastic heart still tied to her wrist. She is a harder-to-find Ginny doll, especially complete with her stapled headpiece decoration & I Love You original blue heart and the desirable centersnap oil cloth shoes. She is not for extremely picky mint-in-box collector but for someone who wants a very pretty example lovingly owned but well taken are of; complete & ready to display with absolutely NO redos! (other than restringing). If you love the more rare original dolls and love her sweet look than she may be one to consider to add to your collection.
