I discovered Reborning in 2006 & started to sell on ebay 2007. I find that it is the ultimate hobby, not only do I gain so much pleasure creating these little ones but also the joy that they bring to others that buy them. THEY ARE FROM MY HEART TO YOUR HANDS TO HOLD & LOVE FOREVER…. . "FLETCHER "is an adorable little man, he has 3/4 length limbs, they are beautiful limbs with a skin like texture to them. He just takes your breathe away I am so pleased with the way he has turned out. My biggest wish now is that he will go to some one who really loves him. All of FLETCHER photo’s have been taken in natural daylight so there is variance in some of the colour tones... Limbs .... 'FLETCHER' has gone through all the reborning process. I feel now I have developed my own special technique , having said that I am always trying new ideas & ways this is a continually learning craft that is why I love it so much. I have covered every crease & baby wrinkle on his dear little limbs, nothing has been over looked. ‘FLETCHER ’ has subtle veining & some broken capillaries & I have given him a subtle mottled complexion to add to his realism. His baby limbs, which are 3/4 in length, have been equally weighted with glass granules & fibre fill..... EYES…. 'FLETCHER' has baby newborn grey/blue eyes, I have added moisture spots in the corners of his eyes. His eyebrows have been hand painted.….. HAIR.... 'FLETCHER' has Golden/Blonde Premium Angora Mohair to micro-rooted his dear little head with. This gorgeous mohair is from here in Australia I have given him “just there Hair’.. His hair has been sealed on the inside. This is a natural fibre so care needs to be taken, a misting of water or stay on conditioner I use No Tangles baby conditioner then style how you want it to be using a wide toothed comb or just your finger tips & allow to dry naturally. BODY... 'FLETCHER' has a jointed FLANNEL body made especially for him this has been filled with fibre fill to make him lovely & cuddly, but also makes him easy to pose. He is weighted with bags glass granules to give him that realistic baby weight. I have also added a drop of ‘Baby Essence’ into the body as well adding to his gorgeous baby smell, adding that beautiful Johnsons baby smell. this slow dissipates over time & just becomes very subtle.... HEAD & FACE…. I have given his head & gorgeous face9 separate layers of GHSP each layer requiring to be heat set when done, so it will last forever, I try to make Fletchers face as close to a newborn bubs as possible. Giving him that true to life baby appearance that makes you watch him really believing he is going to take a breathe . I have given him subtle veining some broken capillaries. Even his little scalp has veining & capillaries & blotchy patches especially @ the crowning area of his head for more realism. With all this done I then fill his head with fibre fill & glass granules in a sealed bag, this gives the weight to his head. So his baby head will really need support when you pick him up & hold him just as a new infants would…. Nails I have given his little ten toes & finger a mini manicure & pedicure (only the best for my bubs) he has matte finish applied, then they are all tipped with white & resealed with a gloss finish for durability. This gives them that lovely ‘Just Cut look’ ….. (They will never chip or become flakey) NOSE His dear little button nose I have left closed & painted for realism. I have added moisture spots around his nostril to add to the realism.….. MOUTH His mouth is slightly opened . I have painted his lips a healthy baby colour. I sealed his lips with a gloss finish for durability & to give him that ‘WeT Look’ that Babies mouths always have. He also has a magnetic pacifier. These can easily be removes upon request on purchasing as they may cause problems when around people with pacemakers …… "FLETCHER" is no longer just a toy he is a'HEIRLOOM' for collectors....As I have used G.H.S. paints his colour will never fade & he will look as gorgeous today as he will tomorrow & for GENERATIONS to come if looked after with of love & care .......
