She has the best character face, big blue sleep eyes, origianl human hair wig, original baby body with jointed wrists, wonderful atique full dress, anitque slips, pantaloons, booties along with a wonderful antque lacy bonnet. She is the perfect life size baby with a wonderful happy face. She is 23" tall and G B 14 and was born in the early 1900's by the George Borgfeldt Doll Factory. She has fabulous smooth, creamy bisque with no chips, cracks or hairlines. Her coloring is fantastic and the sculpting to her fat rosy cheeks, wide up-turned nose and big dimples is adorable. She has huge blue glass sleep eyes, all her eye lid wax along with painted upper and lower lashes and 2 front teeth with a molded toung. She has her origianl human hair wig that is excellent with short wispy bangs that frame her face perfectly and is short and messy like all baby's hair should be. Her harder to find, original fat wood jointed and composition baby body with jointed wrists is in excellent condition and still retains the original finish. There is hardly any wear but for some reason it looks like her hands have been repainted long ago. Her hands and fingers are perfect so I dont' know why they would have been repainted. She has a wonderful fat tummy ,chunky legs and pudgy feet are super. You dont' often find these huge baby's with the jointed wrists and it's a read treat when you do. She is wearing a fabulous antique dress in excellent condition. It's a soft mint green with delicate lacy embrodery design and has wonderful smocking around the front. It has short sleeves with wide ruffles around the shoulders and flair's out beautfiully around the bottom. Her anitque slip is wonderful with ruffles around the bottom and her anitque one peice undes are supers. She is wearing a wonderful pair of antique booties with lace ties and her antique bonnet is marvelous. Her antique bonnet has a wide brim and lacy ruffles all over the brim and top with silk bows around the edges and back with long ties. There is a little fraying on the silk bows but this is just an amazing bonnet. She is the perfect huge, George Borgfeldt character baby with a marvelous happy face and think what a fabulous addition to any bisque character collection she would be. This fabulous, lifesize, 23" George Borgfeldt Character Baby books for around $1500.00 but my reserve is less so don't her crawl away. Lucky winner pays $35.00 S/I and international would be more.
