I will not be relisting this auction if it does not sell. This house was custom built in 1984 for my wife when she was a young girl. The house apears to be in the "Walton" style, but is not part of any collection series. As time went on and she got older the interest in continuing the dollhouse hobby faded. My wife and I wanted to keep the house for a hobby, or a baby girl, but instead we have 2 boys. this old house still has sentimental value but space is becoming a premium in our real house. The dimensions of the house are 34" long by 32" high by 23" front porch to back. And the wieght is approx. 45 pounds. The house is in perfect condition with no break, fractures or cracks. The 2 walls shown in the pictures on the top floor are removable as well as the stairs railing shown. The stairs are solid and cannot be removed. The front porch steps are not perminently attached to the house making it easier to rotate or move the house around. The furniture shown include a full kitchen, bath and partial den. All the furniture is in perfect, like new, condition. With the house are included a complete house lighting kit, 1 uncut rug with pading, 1 roll of wallpaper, 1 Chandiler that came with the lighting kit. The high shipping cost is approximated due to the size and wieght of the house. Only UPS Ground will take the shipment. If the buyer wants the house shipped, and the actual cost of shipping is less the cost difference will be refunded to the buyer after the house is shipped. Local pickup in the Baltimore/DC area negates the cost of shipping. Local delivery in the Baltimore area (Less then 100 mile radius) can be arranged at the cost of fuel only.
