The bottom of their feet are stamped in gold with Quite A Bear - Atlanta, GA and the signature of the maker of each bunny. The small bear is approx 8 1/2" tall and the medium bunny is approx 12" tall; together they are truly precious.  They are only being sold together since I bought them to be a family together.  I actually purchased these bears in a small town called Old Town Spring at a store named Thad's.  I paid $500.00 for both bears.  I got a discount for buying so many... you'll see the others in other listings. QUITE A BEAR Elegant Bears Made From Fine Recycled Fur. Mrs. Mackert is part of three generations of bear makers. Her mother and grandmother made bears through the 1920’s. Inspired by a 1912 Steiff bear given to her as a child, Karrol decided to continued on with her family’s tradition of bear making. In the summer of 1992 after her sons in Florida witnessed the dumping of a tractor tailer load of fur coats into the local recyclers, Mrs. Mackert changed mediums and experimented with mink and arctic seal. Response to the bears was tremendous and ignited Quite A Bear Company in the Fall of 1992. Mrs. Mackert, her son and daughter in-law licensed the company in Atlanta. They became the buyers of fur and gained knowledge of fur handling. Trained by local and retired furriers, they proceeded to make bears according the highest standards.
