Circus Theme' Description ~ Circus Theme ~   Boyds Collection 2001 Club Kit #24306 "Greatest F.o.B. on Earth"   Introduced:  January 2001 This version Retired: March 2001   This is the original 2001 Boyds Collectors Club Kit that was introduced in early 2001. It is considered "1st edition". A certain circus company had a problem with Boyds' wording of "Greatest F.o.B. on Earth", and therefore, Boyds had to change all of the kits issued after March 1st, 2001. The cardboard circus tent box was changed as was the pin. They changed it to Greatest F.o.B. in the World instead.   So, this Collector Club Kit has the rare pin plus the rare box design.   In this 2001 Collectors Kit, there is a resin bear clown called "Gizmoe ... Life's A Juggle":  he is juggling balls while riding a unicycle. There is the matching rare pin that has a banner that says "Greatest F.o.B. on Earth". Also, there's a plush clown bear named "Gadget" & his foot has an embroidered label that says "FOB 2001".   Included in the bottom of the box are the following: Car window cling that says "Honk If You Love Boyds" Boyds Spring 2001 Resin Catalog Boyds Spring 2001 Plush Catalog Winter 2001 Boyds F.o.B. Inquirer Newspaper A cardboard topper to the circus tent   You can't join the Collector Club with the enclosed form, but if you missed this kit when it was introduced, now is a chance to add it to your collection.   Boyds designed the box to be made into a circus tent, and then you could display it with the different limited edition resin pieces released in 2001 with circus themes.  The resin catalog shows how all of the pieces fit together in a circus parade.     This Collector Kit is in perfect condition - from store inventory. The different items were taken from the box to photograph, but they have not been displayed before.   The box measures:  16.5" long  *  10" wide  *  6" deep  .... a large box full of good Boyds stuff!   This is a terrific Boyds kit!     SHIPPING INFORMATION Buyer agrees to pay actual UPS shipping charges to be determined by your zip code.Insurance is included in UPS shipping rates.
